What we learnt this afternoon that in Antarctica Ocean it gets warmer and pretty deeper it go. I found out that on the bottom of Antarctica there is coral living and growing there.

In prizegiving I’d saw a couple of friend’s called Mua and Puwai, I was really disappointed at my mum. She said to me we got to leave in 7:00 so we left.

We picked up my Dad with a car and glared at my mum. I was thinking about prizegiving i wonder I had an award about being the best lip sync and a actor .

Farewell Mrs Verry

Farewell to our dear Mrs Verry from Team 4 Pes on Vimeo.
To Mrs Verry it was so sad that she are going away and it was good that she brought her children and grandchildren to Pt England.

Mr Burt called her Supergran because she was the best helper ever and she tried to wipe her tears but she couldn't. She kept crying and after she watched the Pounamu and the Samoan dance groups dance for her.

Mrs Verry was one of the best teacher ever but sadly she was leaving. At the end of the assembly Mrs. Verry gave a sad message. I went up to Mrs. Verry and hugged her as tight as I could. I said good bye to her because this would be the last time we would see her.

The Modern Pentathlon

In the morning room thirteen went to the hall for assembly. This guy named Paul was holding a bag with a prize inside. He said there  is a camera ,microphone and a memory card and he took a rugby ball out of the bag.

So room 13 was working hard for that camera so I crossed my finger that we would be the winner we did won and so Iisa and Shalom went to get the prize in the bag so I was excited about the camera and the prize so Makerita took a picture  with Miss King and then we took the prize back to our class.

Cross Country Training

Sitting on the netball court, we listened to Mr Marks tell us where to go. It was a new cross country course. So it about crossing the road and I said AHHHWWW MAN I don’t want to go across the road, we started to train now.


Running out of the school grounds, I went around Miss Ouano, round the corner, towards Miss King. My heart was beating fast so I stopped and walked. Miss King said to me “COME ON GLORIA AND DON’T STOP!!!!!!.”




I finally reached the finish line at the court. Feeling so tired because I had jogged and never stopped. Now it was time to walk around the court and do some stretching.

Snow flake day

Miss King's friend, paula, sent us this movie from Christchurch to show us what a snow day looks like.

Catching a snowflake on your tongue feels cold like ice cream.A magical winter  of pristine whiteness.sprinkling over the ground,snowflake transforming the landscape.snow is so cold.

Skidding and sliding on the ice,a severe storm closed the roads.The police have said for people to take care.School are closed due to ice and freezing temperatures.
